Photos Of Areas In Metro Manila Affected By Typhoon Maring
Here are the photos of different areas in Metro Manila, which are severely affected by the heavy rains spawned by Typhoon Maring.
Earlier, The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that tropical depression Maring has slightly intensified and expected to make a landfall on Quezon-Aurora area on Tuesday afternoon (September 12, 2017).
Maring has sustained winds of up to 55 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 65 kph. The tropical depression will bring moderate to heavy rains while it is moving west-northwest.
PAGASA has also raised tropical storm signals in different areas all around the country. The state weather bureau has also advised the public to remain alert and prepare for possible flash flood and landslide on the affected areas.
Recently, a part of the road infrastructure in Brgy. Kalubkob in Silang, Cavite was severely damaged by the floods caused by the heavy rains brought by Maring, which raises the concern of the residents.
The official Facebook page of “GMA News” has also posted the photos of some parts in Metro Manila affected by the flood waters caused by the tropical depression.
