Traveler Anna Everywhere Calls Boracay As Worst Island In The Philippines
A traveler named Anna Everywhere who’s also a blogger has called Boracay as the worst island in the Philippines due to her horrible experience.
Boracay is one of the most popular tourist spots in the Philippines, which was also visited by foreign nationals from different countries all around the world. Most people are visiting the island because of the white sand, the heat of the sun, and to go party with other people.
Recently, a blogger/traveler named Anna Everywhere has called Boracay as the worst tourist trap in the Southeast Asia due to her horrible experience. Anna has already visited 61 countries in the past 10 years and finds the island as the worst place that she visited.
Anna took Kalibo airport route, instead of taking Caticlan airport route, which is much closer to Boracay. Most people were taking Caticlan airport route for a convenient travel.
The traveler was, unfortunately, took an overcrowded bus loaded with rowdy young people, who were so loud and too noisy for her ears on her way to Boracay.
However, the public transportation in the Philippines whether on land, sea, or air are bad and can really cause inconvenience for their clients, which might be one of the reasons why the traveler had a bad experience heading to the island.
Eventually, Anna reached Boracay thinking that it is the most beautiful tourist spot in the country yet she could not get some beach for herself due to the drunken crowds and annoying vendors pushing their items to the tourist’s face.
The loud party goers and drunken crowds make Anna more disappointed, but the tourists leaving their trash on the beach prompted her to call it as the worst island in the country.
However, Anna also said that there is nothing like Boracay in the Philippines and she also explained that she does not discourage tourists to visit the island, but she does not recommend anyone to visit this type of place.

unfortunately i have to agree with Anna, not only to Boracay but many other areas in the Philippines. tourists both local and international often behave badly in regard to drinking, noise levels, discarding of trash and yes the vendors can be over the top. if we continue to behave this way Boracay , 100 Islands and many other areas will lose tourists through the lack of care, cleanliness and disregard for others
