Could this be a violation?

Mocha Uson has been spotted performing at a bar inside a casino despite the law which states that government officials are prohibited to go at such place due to their reputation.

Memorandum Circular Number 6 indicates that if a personnel or an official of the government goes into a casino, they considerably are “conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service.”

It is signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea and states that the penalties should be “in view of its negative effect on the public perception of government service.”

Also on the said law read, “all heads of ministries, bureaus and offices, government-owned or controlled corporations and local governments, including the AFP, to reiterate the prohibition against officials and employees under them from going to the casinos.”

And according to a report from the Rappler, based on their source, the PCOO has been confirmed to be performing at Bar 360, located at the ground floor of Resorts World Manila’s casino “almost every week”.

A service ambassador even confirmed that Mocha’s last performance was on September 5, Tuesday.

And when Mocha is not there to perform, Mocha Babes instead of Mocha Girls takes her place.

As per the report, superior of Mocha, Secretary Martin Andanar, already know this and had allegedly allowed her to.

Nevertheless, the management of the Resorts World Manila told in a statement that those who would perform should comply with all the regulations of the government first.

They said, “Resorts World Manila has advised its entertainment providers to strictly comply with all relevant laws and regulations.”
