Kapuso star Carla Abellana stole the show at the grand coronation night of Miss World Philippines on Sunday night, September 3.
The 31-year-old actress was one of the hosts of the pageant held at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
More than 35 aspiring beauty queens compete in the highly anticipated pageant as candidates battled it out to be named as Miss World Philippines 2017 and three other crowns.
Meanwhile, Carla Abella stole the show with her glam and beauty.
She even debuted as among a hot topic on the Twitterverse during the coronation night.

Celebrity stylist Margaux Medina, makeup artist Dino Lazaro, and hairstylist Mark Baquiran were behind the jaw-dropping look of Carla Abellana during Miss World PH coronation night.
Carla Abellana wore a bespoke black created by Yong Davalos in the opening of the pageant.
In the mid-part of the program, she changed into a “dreamy blush pink gown” from the Spring/Summer 2018 collection of Rosenthal Tee according to PEP.ph.
Laura Lehmann, a courtside reporter from Ateneo de Manila University has been crowned as Miss World Philippines 2017.
Winwyn Marquez, the daughter of actor-comedian Joey Marquez has been named as Reina Hispano Americana Filipinas.
On the other hand, Sophia Senoron as Miss Multinational Philippines 2017 while Cynthia Thomalla as Miss Eco Philippines 2017.
Glyssa Leian Perez was named as 1st Princess and Zara Carbonell has been declared as 2nd Princess.
