Ten (10) Filipinos made it anew to the Forbes 2017 World Billionaires list which was recently released by the renowned magazine.
Shopping mogul Henry Sy has been named anew as the richest in the Philippines with an estimated net worth of $12.7 billion naming him as 94th richest billionaire in the world.
The owner of one of the leading shopping mall in the country has been the country’s richest for the past 10 years.
In 2016, 11 Pinoys made it on the world’s billionaires list but this year, only 10 became part of the elite list.
The world’s billionaires list is comprised of wealthiest individuals coming from 67 countries.
Among who dominated the list were United States-based businessmen including Microsoft founder Bill Gates while Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, who placed 1st and 5th respectively.
