Kyrie Irving Traded To Celtics In Exchange For Isaiah Thomas On Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers agreed to trade Kyrie Irving to Boston Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas to team up with LeBron James.
Kyrie Irving, an American professional basketball player becomes one of the most controversial players of the National Basketball Association (NBA) after a leak when it leaked that he had requested a trade to move on from the Cavaliers.
Cavaliers is one of the teams that reached the NBA Finals for the last three season who won the champion in 2016 but lost to the Golden State Warriors in 2017.
The 25-year-old player has joined the Boston Celtics that finished first in the eastern conference last season but was bounced by Cavs in five games of the Eastern Conference Finals. While Isaiah Thomas of Cavs missed the last three games with Warriors due to a hip injury.
Boston Celtics will send small forward Jae Crowder, center prospect Ante Zizic and the Brooklyn Nets 2018 first-round pick to Cavaliers as part of the deal in exchange for Irving, according to some reports.
Last season, Irving has average points of 25.2 on 47.3 percent shooting and 5.8 assists. The 25-year-old basketball player has still three years and $60 million remaining on his contract.
Meanwhile, Thomas has finished his third in the NBA with 28.9 points average in the year 2016-2017. He will become a free agent after the 2017-2018 campaign.
