Here is the result of the conducted autopsy of Kian Loyd Delos Santos’ dead body.
KIAN LOYD DELOS SANTOS – The autopsy report of the Grade 11 student who died during the Oplan Galugad of Caloocan police showed 3 fatal wounds and one of which is treacherous.
According to the report of the Inquirer, the cause of the death of the Grade 11 student, of whom is only 17 years old, are three gunshots in the head.
The gunshots were found at the back of the head, behind the left ear and inside the left ear of Kian Loyd.
As per the report, the autopsy was administered on Sunday morning, August 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and this procedure were held upon the request of the family of Kian.
A team of forensic experts conducted the autopsy led by Dr. Erwin Erfe.
As the entrance of the bullets were at the back of the head, behind the left ear and inside the left ear, it has then all exited at the right part of the head based on Dr. Erfe.
The family also sought help from the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) and chief of the office Persida Rueda-Acosta, they are already preparing for the filing of a complaint against the police officers involved.
However, on the other hand, as per another report from the Rappler, Acosta said, “Three fatal wounds ang nakita at yung isa ay treacherous wound (3 fatal wounds were seen, and one of them was a treacherous wound).”
Legally talking, treacherous wound means, as per what’s written on the source, “treacherous wound is inflicted by the assailant in means that would ensure its execution. The treachery can be used as an aggravating circumstance as basis to file murder charges.”
Acosta then further added, “We will wait for the final forensic examinations by our forensic team and consolidate all evidence.”
