MMK To Feature The Life Story Of Jake Zyrus
The life story of the controversial singer Jake Zyrus or formerly known as Charice Pempengco will be featured on Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).
Jake Zyrus is a Filipino singer who was formerly known as Charice Pempengco who was internationally recognized as one of the most talented people in the world due to her powerful singing voice, which brought her into the spotlight.
Charice Pempengco has changed his name to Jake Zyrus a month after breaking up with girl Alyssa Quijano. The singer also undergoes different surgical operations including breast removal surgery and taking up testosterone shots in order to successfully become a transman.
The 25-year-old singer also said in an interview that he won’t totally erase Charice Pempengco from his life and consider her as a little sister. He also said that she doesn’t regret about anything regarding his decisions.
Recently, the celebrity transman has uploaded the trailer of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode featuring his life story as Jake Zyrus, which will be shown on Saturday (August 26, 2017). “Ako po si Jake Zyrus at ako po ay isang transman,” said by Zyrus on the trailer.
In 2008, the life story of Charice Pempengco has been featured in MMK with Zsa Zsa Padilla who play the role of her mother Racquel Pempengco.
