Mindoro Most Wanted Person ‘Abing Castillo’ Now Arrested By Authorities
The most wanted person in the province of Mindoro who was identified as ‘Abing Castillo’ was now arrested by the authorities.
On Tuesday (August 15, 2017), the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Regional Public Safety Battalion, and Coron Municipal Police Station have collaborated and worked together to arrest the most wanted person in Mindoro.
Abing Castillo, one of the most wanted personalities in the provincial level of Occidental Mindoro was arrested by the authorities in the resort where he is working in Barangay Bulalacao.
Occidental Mindoro Provincial Police Office was communicating with Coron Police, which leads them to discover that Castillo was hiding in the town of Coron for already 12 years due to the murder case filed against him.
Inspector Starky Timbancaya said that Castillo did not fight back nor resisted the arrest instead, he peacefully surrendered to the authorities and explained the charges filed against him.
“Noong siya ay ma-identify ng ating mga operatiba at kasama doon sa trabaho, siya po’y agad na nahawakan at napaliwanag sa kaniya kung anong kasong kaniyang hinaharap sa ngayon dahil nga po may dala-dala rin tayong warrant of arrest na nanggaling pa po sa Mindoro,” said by Timbancaya quoted by ABS-CBN.
According to the Coron police, the reward for anyone who can give information that will lead to Castillo’s arrest is P90, 000. The suspect will be turned over to the Provincial Police Office for documentation and medical checkup. He will be detained in Occidental Mindoro Police Office.
