Tony Calvento Sets "Date" To Get Personal Apology From Vice Ganda

Tony Calvento gives a deadline for the personal apology of Vice Ganda.

TONY CALVENTO – The Filipino journalist Tony Calvento gives Vice Ganda a deadline as he wants a personal apology from the Kapamilya comedian.

Based on the previous report, the controversy between these two big personalities started when the comedian mentioned the name of the journalist as a comparison with another contestant from the Tawag ng Tanghalan.

It was on Friday, August 11, when Vice Ganda mixed out this comedic line to an advice he was saying to the male contestant to which he indicated, “Never be ashamed of your face. Yang mukha mo, ikaw ‘yan at maraming pagdadalhan ang mukhang yan. That is a gift, your face. Kahit gaano kalaki ‘yan kahit kamukha mo si Tony Calvento, mukha mo ‘yan kaya dapat proud ka.”

Thus, the journalist upon hearing this warned them that if Vice Ganda won’t issue a public apology, he will file a case to both Vice and the network.

The comedian then issued through Billy Crawford for he was in Korea. An excerpt from his apology told, “Wala po akong intensyon na saktan or insultuhin kayo Mr. Calvento. Ang tanging intensyon ko ay magbigay ng payo sa aming contestant na magtiwala sa sarili at sa kanyang kakayahan. Again, my sincerest apologies, Mr. Tony Calvento. Malaki po ang respeto ko sa inyo bilang isang journalist, kaibigan at kapamilya.”

And as of this writing, 18 hours ago, Tony Calvento posted on his Facebook account once again to where he set a sort of deadline for the “personal apology” of the Kapamilya comedian.

The post says, “IF I DON’T GET THE PERSONAL APOLOGY FROM HIM, NOT READ BY SOMEONE, I WILL MAKE MY MOVE.
I WILL WAIT TILL WEDNESDAY.”
