Two earthquakes shook the Rizal and the Metro Manila
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said that two earthquakes shook the places and parts of Rizal and Metro Manila respectively before the dawn of Tuesday.
According to the news report released by the Inquirer, the tectonic origin of the shaking happened at 2:31 a.m. and 1:28 a.m. which was located at the depths of about 9 kilometers and 5 kilometers respectively.
The Phivolcs announced that the first rocking was felt at Rizal with Intensity IV in Pililla and Antipolo, Intensity III in Angono and Intensity II in Tanay.
It was accordingly Intensity II in Manila and Pasig City and Intensity 1 in Quezon City.
The second temblor was felt in the following towns of Rizal: Pililla (Intensity IV) and San Mateo and Rodriguez (Intensity III).
Phivolcs is not expecting any damages from the shaking of the ground.
