Engineering Students Of CHMSC-Talisay Eagerly Answers Quiz Amid Blackout

CHMSC engineering students were eagerly answering their quiz despite the blackout and use their cellular phones to finish it.

Being an engineering student is quite difficult due to the complicated quizzes and mathematical problems to solve every day in school. Determination and perseverance are the primary keys in order to survive.

Recently, a Facebook user named Rebecca C. Gegantoni has shared a post of how the Civil Engineering students of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC) in Talisay City, Negros Occidental were eagerly solving their quiz despite the blackout around 8 pm, which makes the quiz more difficult for the students.

Ms. Gegantoni narrated that she together with another school personnel was just passing by along the classrooms on the ground floor of LSA Building when they noticed the engineering students who were solving their quiz in a very dark night.

The school personnel pause and take a look on the persevered students. They couldn’t help but admire the students, so they decided to take pictures of the Civil Engineering class who were really focused on what they are doing.

The photos only prove that blackouts and any technical problems can’t hinder the student of CHMSC-Talisay to do their best in reaching their goals in life.

Almost 100 percent of Civil engineering students of CHMSC-Talisay usually pass the board examinations. Some of them are top notchers and frequently above the national passing percentage in board exams.

Some of the students also commented on the post that 2 sections from 4th year and Section A of the 5th year students have decided to pursue the quiz despite the blackout.
