Kapuso actress Marian Rivera comments on the young Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano for being able to fetch the iconic role of Darna.
Darna is a Filipino female superheroine. From generation to generation, the role is passed through different actresses to portray it.
Some of the actresses who have played the iconic role were Sharon Cuneta, Angel Locsin, and Marian Rivera.
And today’s actress to have the role is the famous young actress from the Kapamilya network, Liza Soberano.
Marian Rivera, is the very recent Darna commented on Liza for fetching the role.
As seen on the video posted and shared on Laila Chikadora’s Facebook account, Marian reacted and said that the role is perfect for Liza.
On the video, a reporter asked her about what is her reaction and she answered, “Oo. Okay naman. Maganda siya. Perfect para sa kanya.”
She was then asked if she has a message for Liza to where she responded, “Naku! Nakakahiya naman mag-message bilang hindi naman kami magkakilalang dalawa. Nakakahiya naman. Good luck! Pero for sure naman kahi sino ang magsuot din niyan eh csiguradong susuportahan specially eh kung siya kasi parang majority naman yata eh, siya yung gusto. ‘Tsaka ganda naman tapos ang seksi. Kaya niya ‘yan!”
Marian’s answer was lauded and praised because of her sincerity despite the fact that she from another network and at such is the biggest rival of the management she was in.
One netizen even said when the video was posted on the site of Fashion Pulis, “Ayieee my 2 favorites – Marian & Liza. Sana mag-meet sila bilang magpinsan sina Dong & Quen at magkasama uli sa next project! Super beautiful pair silang dalawang pares pag nagkataon.”
