Linkin Park Releases New Music Video of “Talking To Myself” A Minute After Their Vocalist’s Death

The American rock band Linkin Park has released a new music video a minute after their vocalist Chester Bennington died by suicide.

Recently, Linkin Park’s vocalist Chester Bennington becomes the headlines of the news after he was found dead at his residence in Palos Verdes Estates, California around 9 am on Thursday morning (July 20, 2017).

Bennington was suspected committed suicide by hanging himself in his bedroom. The remains of the vocalist were found by an employee and immediately reported it to the authorities.

Linkin Park’s co-founder Mike Shinoda has confirmed the death of their vocalist and said that the band would release an official statement soon. Shinoda also said that the band was “Shocked and Heartbroken” on what happened.

On Thursday, Linkin Park released their new music video for the song entitled “Talking To Myself”. The video was released at 9:01 am, a minute after Chester died at his residence after committing suicide.

“Talking To Myself” was their newest single featuring Linkin Park’s video footage while performing in front of their fans. The vocalist also addresses his history with illegal drugs from his wife’s perspective.

Brad Delson, a member of the band said that there’s a theme of the fragility of life in the song. He also said that fear comes when the things we love could take away from us in just an instant.

The new music video came from the third track of the rock band’s seventh studio album named “One More Light”. The album was released in May 2017 and climbed into the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart.
