Derrick Monasterio admitted that he has courting Barbie Forteza.
DERRICK MONASTERIO – Young Kapuso actor refuted being “friend-zoned” by Bea Binene but affirmed of pursuing Barbie Forteza.
According to the news report released by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep), the young actor denied the rumours that he was “friend-zoned” by his love partner on the screen Bea Binene but admits that he is courting Barbie Forteza.
Derrick and Bea have long been known to be a love team of the Kapuso network but for the longest of their tandem, a real love did not grow in between them.
However, there were others whose in doubt that he just got “friend-zoned” but he has denied it.
As mentioned in the report, he has said, “A, hindi naman, hindi naman po! Hindi naman kailangang mag-dyowa para mag-work ang love team. Pero hindi ko naman po mapi-predict pa ang future.”
But he had indicated that Bea is a girlfriend-material for him. He reasoned out that even though he sees her that way, but he does not see of Bea being his girlfriend because he is still busy with his work.
“Girlfriend-material naman po si Bea. Pero hindi ko pa lang po nakikita yun ngayon. Work po, e. Busy sa trabaho.”
Prior on being paired with Bea, Derrick was paired up with Barbie Forteza.
And he had admitted, that going back, he had once pursued Barbie but then he was just so young then. He was not able to get her sweetest “Yes!”
In an interview, he said, “Niligawan ko rin! Hindi rin po. Bata kasi akong manligaw noon.”
After the admission, he also indicated that he is as well indicated with the mother of Barbie Forteza.
