Andrea Torres was accused of circulating the controversy that Sef Cadayona and Maine Mendoza is allegedly budding a romantic relationship with each other.
According to a news report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep), upon the accusation and denying it, she have stated, “Ako kasi, wala na akong role sa kung ano man yung naiisyu sa kanila or ano… kasi hindi naman ako kasama sa story na yun.”
She even further explained that she never wanted to be associated with the issue because she did not know anything about it so she, therefore, is “out” of the scene.
“Kumbaga, parang… yun lang, ayoko nang ma-associate pa. Wala naman po akong alam, wala rin naman akong maku-contribute sa isyu nila. Out na ako dun,” she said.
And because of her involvement on the issue, she was not able to escape the bashings and criticisms from the fans and supporters of Maine Mendoza.
But, based on the report, she is not just minding all those judgments for her.
“Pray na lang saka trying to count my blessings. Yun naman ang sabi nila, e. Doon ka na lang sa positive para ma-enjoy mo yung mga dumarating.Yun na lang ang iniisip ko, yung good side na lang. Iniisip ko na lang, baka sabihin ni Lord, ‘Masyado kang naka-focus sa mali, e, lagi naman may bright side, e.”
She had exactly said as to what she is doing instead of indulging herself to much on the issue.
However, another denial that came from the actress is about having relationship with Sef Cadayona despite the admission of the actor.
The actress insisted, “Ako naman kasi, sa mga previous interviews, never ko naman na-claim na meron akong boyfriend. “So ako, kahit ano naman yung lumalabas na isyu, mag-stick ako sa sinabi ko na never ako nagkaroon ng boyfriend.”
