Celebrities, Athletes Expresses Their Disappointment On Pacquiao’s Defeat Over Horn
Countless celebrities and athletes including the NBA superstar Kobe Bryant react on Pacquiao’s defeat over the Australian Horn on Sunday (July 02, 2017).
The country was currently mourning due to the loss of Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao after his painful loss the undefeated Australian boxer Jeff “Hornet” Horn, which was held at Brisbane in Australia.
Pacquiao failed to defend the WBO Welterweight title against Horn after the judges announced that the Australian boxer won the match via unanimous decision. Judges: Waleska Roldan (117-111), Chris Flores (115-113) and Ramon Cerdan (115-13).
The fight statistics have been exposed after the controversial match between the two boxers. It shows that the Filipino boxer landed more punches compared to Horn, which makes them wonder how Pacman get lost.
International athletes and celebrities have also expressed their disappointment regarding the loss of Manny Pacquiao.
Athletes including Kobe Bryant, DeMar DeRozan, Karl-Anthony Towns, and other players were dismayed on the result of Pacquiao-Horn match.
The boxing analyst and commentator Teddy Atlas Jr. has also lambasted the boxing governing bodies for declaring Horn as the new world champion and pleaded a strong clamor for a rematch.
