Magnitude 4 earthquake hit the Surigao del Sur.

SURIGAO – The Surigao del Sur was shook by a magnitude 4 earthquake around 4:37 a.m., June 29.

According to the news report by the Philippine News Agency, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) released an advisory stating that the Surigao del Sur was shaken by a magnitude earthquake early morning.

This event had occurred around 4:37 in the morning to which its epicenter was found and located  at 75 km north of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur.

It is accordingly a tectonic earthquake that has a depth measuring 19 kilometers.

Also an earthquake with a magnitude 4.1 also shook the Bislig City, Surigao del Sur later time on Wednesday to which has occurred 11:21 p.m. with epicenter traced at 46 km east of Bislig City and depth measuring 23 kilometers,

There were no damages done and aftershocks are not expected to occur.
