Sharon Cuneta revealed that she almost married Robin Padilla.
SHARON CUNETA – The megastar Sharon Cuneta confessed in one of her concert that she almost married her former on-screen partner Robin Padilla.
Accordingly to the report released by the Philippine Entertainment Portal, it was one of the major comeback concert of the megastar last year when she confessed almost marrying the action star.
It was October 15, 2016 when she had her concert again after she lied low in the show business for four previous years of such time.
And she has been emotional during her concert due to remembering some events she had gone through for having and spending more than three decades in the industry.
Also present on that concert of her daughter with Kiko Pangilinan, her husband, Frankie Pangilinan whom she even called to be ‘more musically talented than she have ever been or will ever be’.
As per the topic that she almost married the actor, the megastar actually said, “I did this movie with this guy named Robinhood. That’s his real name. I just came from a breakup, that never-ending break-up, and many other breakups. This first breakup, to make a long story short, we did this movie. We had so much fun and we fell in love. I would have married him but I found out someone’s pregnant so I had to leave. I didn’t do anything pa, e. It lasted 2 months. And it gave me beautiful memories and we’re very good friends. [That experience] gave me this beautiful song from Rey Valera.”
In also one of the reports of Pep, Robn Padilla also revealed that his movie “Maging Sino Ka Man” with the megastar on 1991 was his real love story.
The actor even stated as per the report, “Sharon was the main reason why I became an actor, she was my idol and I love chasing her everywhere, so I decided to pursue the biggest dream of my childhood.”
Furthermore, “Lahat ng dialogue ko sa pelikulang ito ay ako ang pinasulat at pinagawa ng alamat [na si] Direk Eddie Rodriguez, dahil alam ng batikang arista na ako mismo ang character ko bilang si Carding Sungkit and in front of him is a very real love story of a bad boy and a rich famous girl.”
The actor actually had Sharon’s name tattood on his chest.
