“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” Versus “Mulawin Vs. Ravena” Ratings.
RATINGS – The AGB Nielsen and the Kantar Media showed the ratings of program coming from each of the two biggest rival giant network of the country, the ABS-CBN and GMA.
As posted by the Fashion Pulis on their site, the ratings two programs from the said biggest rival network on television was indicated.
Accordingly to the post, the rating was obtained from AGB Nielsen and Kantar Media.
AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines or more popularly called AGB Nielsen is a market research firm in the Philippines with a specialization in broadcast media.
AGB Nielsen conducts audience measurement of television ratings for certain areas in the Philippines, most notably in urban areas.
While on the other hand, the Kantar media is as a firm of market research specializing the broadcast media which is also in the Philippines.
They are the one responsible in measuring the television ratings of the audiences of the entire Philippines.
As per the photo that was posted and shared, it was stated that the AGB Nielsen “uses a panel size of 1,980 homes based solely in urban areas that represent only 57 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population”.
The NUTAM, does not comprise the entire Philippines, only the urban centers.
However, the Kantar media uses a panel size of 2,610 of rural and urban homes which represents the 100 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population.”
The two programs being compared was FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano from the ABS-CBN and the Mulawin Vs Ravena which was aired on the television at the same time slot.

Upon seeing the rating, some of the comments on the comments section below indicated that even though people were saying they have had enough of FPJAP, the ratings are still undeniably high compared to MVR.
