Gretchen Barretto’s daughter Dominique played role in issue between her mom and her cousin Claudia.
GRETCHEN BARRETTO – The only daughter of singer-actress Gretchen Barretto, Dominique, exerted an effort to help resolve the issue between her mother and her cousin Claudia.
Based on a previous news report, Gretchen Barretto and her niece Claudia, the daughter of her younger sister Marjorie, were engaged in an issue.
Reportedly, the rift rooted in the ‘someone else’ phrase in the statement of the younger Barretto in which the older Barretto reacted and tagged her niece as ‘ungrateful child’.
Based on a recent post of Gretchen on her social media account, Dominique, her daughter who considers Claudia as her younger sister, helped resolve the issue between her mom and cousin.
Gretchen stated that when she was in Hong Kong, her daughter called her and asked her to reach out to Claudia. The older Barretto expressed that she treats Marjorie’s daughter as her own child.
According to her, she is learning the lesson that being mom requires being forgiving to the hurt and disappointment caused by the child.
“We must be more understanding and patient,” Gretchen said.
She also added that mothers should love their kids unconditionally and that includes looking past their flaws.
In her post, Gretchen Barretto asked for understanding and forgiveness from Claudia and her followers on the social media. The older Barretto also expressed her love for her daughter who helped her sort things out.
“Dominique my little one , you make me human in spite of all the pain , Thank you & I Love you will never be enough,” she stated.
The post went viral on the social media. As of the writing, it has already reached more than nine thousand likes and lots of netizens commented on it.
Undeniably, there are those who are still disappointed with Claudia Barretto based on comments to the post. Meanwhile, Gretchen, in a comment, wrote, “always smile often, forgive, pray and love.”
