Actress Nadia Montenegro went on the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she shared a fake news article about the death of Rommel Padilla, father of actor Daniel Padilla.
The 45-year-old actress noted that the report about the apparent death of Rommel Padilla was a hoax.

Rommel Padilla has yet to comment on this issue which has made a buzz online.
The 51-year-old actor came to prominence when he starred in a string of popular Philippine movies including Lorenzo’s Time (2012), Totoy Golem (1996) and Kahit Demonyo Itutumba Ko (2000).
Rommel Padilla is the younger brother of Royette Padilla, followed by BB Gandanghari (born as Rustom Padilla); and Robin Padilla, the youngest.
Rommel is married to Anabelle Antonio of Angeles, Pampanga whom he had children namely RJ Padilla, Matt Padilla, and Roanna Padilla.
On the other hand, Daniel Padilla is Rommel’s son with singer-actress Karla Estrada.
“Ningning,” “Dolce Amore,” and “The Greatest Love” are among the last television projects of Rommel Padilla. He now appears on top-rating ABS-CBN afternoon series, “The Better Half” starring Shaina Magdayao, Carlo Aquino, Denise Laurel and JC de Vera.
