Must See: This Is How Soldiers, Scout Rangers In Marawi Celebrated Father’s Day

Heartbreaking Celebration Of Soldiers, Scout Rangers In Marawi During Father’s Day

Here are some heart-breaking photos showing how the scout rangers and soldiers in Marawi City celebrated the Father’s Day.

On Sunday (June 18, 2017), the world celebrates Father’s Day as a sign of honoring and appreciating the effort of our fathers. Most families spent this special day eating lunch or dinner in fancy restaurants together with their love ones.

The brave Filipino soldiers and scout rangers on frontlines in Marawi City have also celebrated Father’s Day on Sunday despite the exchange of deafening gun fires in the area. The militaries have also commemorated the paternal event with colleagues.

The soldiers received a fried chicken meal from Jollibee delivered to the battle zones, which lighten up their mood. They enjoyed their meals together with their comrades without leaving their respective positions and obligations.

The meal also reminds them that every soldier is still a father even without their families on their side during that day. The scout rangers and militaries were currently suffering from starvation, homesickness, and lack of sleep.

Previously, a Facebook user named Cathleena Baybs has shared the message of Vivitzgrace Resbal who requested Jollibee to help support troops in Marawi City. Unfortunately, the popular fast-food chain just “seenzoned” her message.

The Integrated Developmental School (IDS) Batch ’94 of Iligan City seen her request and decided to send help to the soldiers fighting the Maute Terror Group just to defend the people of Marawi City.

Jollibee Iligan also donated about 2, 000 chicken joy, yum, and peach mango pie as a response to the request of their beloved customers.

Baybs received a message from her friend confirming that the Jollibee meals have been already received by the soldiers in the beleaguered city. After receiving the food, the soldiers enjoyed their meals while performing their duties.
