According to the news report of the Manila Bulletin, Katy Perry has set a history in Twitter to have a hundred million of followers as per the announcement of the social media platform.
As mentioned on the report, Twitter said on Friday through a tweet, “Today we #WITNESS history, Congratulations @katyperry, the first to reach 100 million followers! #LoveKaty.”
Katy is an in international pop superstar and is already 32 years old.
Recently, she put 96 hours of her life in a live stream as she invited her fans to watch her sleep, cook, do Yoga,cuddle with her dog Nugget and talk and chat with celebrities showing up on her door step which generated 49 million views from over 190 countries around the world..
It was stated on the report that ‘despite putting her life temporarily under observation with 41 cameras, Perry, born Katheryn Hudson to conservative Christian parents in California,’ she is still struggling to handle her life with so much attention more broadly.
She said to therapist Siri Singh, “I built up this Katy Perry thing that everybody knows and that’s the reason why they’re tuning in and it’s fantastic, but it’s more of a facade.”
She said while tears from her eyes smudged her mascara that she is a human and she is ‘living under this crazy microscope.’
Katy Perry’s rival in pop Taylor Swift has 85 million followers and Justin Beiber’s followers on the said social networking site trails under 97 million.
