MUST READ! President Rodrigo Duterte’s Message For Independence Day

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has a message to all the Filipinos as the country celebrates its Independence Day.

MESSAGE – The president of the Republic of the Philippines has given out his message to all the Filipinos as the country celebrates its Independence Day.

The photo of the message of the President was posted by the Facebook page Philippine News Agency.

It was said in the message that he is one with Filipinos in celebrating the 119th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the country.

As reflected on the post, it has been a century since a lot of Filipinos had died just to have its greatest aim, and that is the freedom of the country and most especially the freedom of the people.

Truly, as per the message the path to have the freedom was not easy. Blood, sweat and life has been sacrificed by our ancestors to have the independence that we have right now.

As written, “Sa gitna ng mga pagsubok, ang pagmamahal sa bayan at tatag ng kalooban ang siyang nagbigay daan upang makawala tayo sa tanikala ng pagka-alipin at pang-aabuso.”

(Amid the struggles, patriotism and strength is the reason why we are able to let go from the chains of slavery and abuse.)

The president also gave emphasis how strong were the Filipinos as they showed the world their strength to have what is rightfully ours.

And it is just right to give the sacrifices of our heroes a significance and importance through being a good citizen.

Through being a good citizen, the president says, “Isa lamang ito sa mga maaari nating gawin upang masuklian ang kanilang pagpapakasakit para sa bansa upang matamasa natin ngayon ang isang maunlad at masaganang Pilipinas.”

(It is just one way to show gratitude from all the pains they have gone through for our country to be what it is right now, progressive and bountiful.)

The message was from the Malacanang Palace and was signed by the President Duterte himself.
