RANDY SANTIAGO – The actor and singer Randy Santiago revealed reason why, in an exclusive interview, he left the show of his friend Willie Revillame in GMA.
According to the report of Push ABS-CBN, the singer and the actor was once in GMA as seen on the show of Willie Revillame which is also directed by the actor himself but now, he is back on the Kapamilya network.
What might be his reason why for transferring to the rival of his network before?
Based on the report of Push when they had an exclusive interview with the actor, he accordingly said that it has been last month when he asked Willie’s permission to transfer to the Kapamilya network.
Randy said, “Nakakahiya kasi na kapag kumakanta ako, ibang director ang nagdidirek (ng show niya). Siyempre, nahihiya naman ako sa kanya.”
Admittedly, he really wanted to go back on singing for he indicated that it has been a year since he appeared on television screen.
“Active naman ako bilang singer, kaya lang, yung para pagtuunan ko ng panahon na makagawa ako ng album, hindi eh. Siyempre, lagi kaming puyat don,” he confessed.
10 years had passed ever since he had his last album and very last album he made was the Biente Na Hihirit Pa.
And he pointed out that it is what he misses the most for there were still fans who are still yearning for him to sing and make an album.
As he was planning to get back on the track of his abandoned singing career for a year, he also met a chance to be a part of a soap opera in the Kapamilya network.
He said, “Nakakatuwa naman na kinonsider ako. Kaya imbes na ako ang tanungin n’yo kung gusto ko, si Direk Cathy ang tanungin n’yo kung gusto niya akong makasama.”
Randy will portray the role as the father figure of Daniel Padilla in La Luna Sangre which will have its first airing on June 19.
