Basketball player Kevin Durant stared down at Rihanna amidst his play during NBA Finals first game.
KEVIN DURANT – Golden State Warriors forward player Kevin Durant denies the trending topic that he stared down at Rihanna after his three-point shoot at the later part of the game when the latter allegedly shouted “Brick!” at him.
Aside from the players of the battle for championship between the rivals of the court Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers that heated the event are the international stars who took time to personally witness the scorching match.
One of the stars who have been there is the award-winning singer Rihanna who is a solid supporter of LeBron James, number 23 of the Cavaliers.
And according to the report of the ESPN FC, the forward star player of the Warriors, Durant, denies the allege.
As being mentioned on the report, Rihanna was sitting on the court side with a friend watching the game when she reportedly yelled at Durant after his three-point shot in the later part of the fourth quarter.
And he looked down at Rihanna.
To which the player denied during his interview when the game ended and took the Game 1 away with his team.
He was asked by the scene but he just said, “”I don’t even remember that.” And he was shocked that the scene took the social media by storm.
Warriors guard Stephen Curry who is just beside him at the podium during the interview was just laughing and jokingly said, “”Don’t get into that trap, man.”
Durant laughed at it and replied, “Yeah, I won’t get into that. I’m cool.”
Kevin Durant, being one of the lead scorers, finished off the game with ’38 points on 14-of-26 shooting from the field to go along with eight assists and eight rebounds’.
However, 2nd game of the NBA Finals will be on the fifth of June.
