RAYMOND CABALFIN – Filipino-American teenager Raymond Cabalfin Jr. went missing after the strong currents of the American River carried him away.

Based on a recent news report in Coconuts, Raymond Cabalfin Jr. and his friends went hiking and then they he jumped into the American River to cool himself.

The Fil-Am teenager jumped from a rock and when he landed on the water, the strong currents of the American River carried him away.

Reportedly, Cabalfin could be seen trying his best to swim back to the safe area in a video that was released by the missing guy’s family.

Based on the news report, the Fil-Am teenager sought the aid of his friends who also tried to save him. 911 was also called by the peers of Cabalfin.

Citing The Sacramento Bee, the report entailed that the Park rangers at Auburn State Recreation helped searched for the missing teenager. They looked for Cabalfin seven hours but he was not found.

The superintendent of the Auburn State Recreation Area, Mike Howard, expressed that the people have already searched the area and Cabalfin could have been found if he is still alive.

The Auburn State Recreation Area superintendent also expressed that in just a matter of seconds when you crossed the water, threatening situations might possibly occur based on the report.

On the other side, citing Fox40, the report entailed that the family of the missing guy claimed that they were not informed by the law enforcement about the incident.

Nina, his sister, expressed their unbelief that the situation is happening to their family.

Cabalfin’s family claimed that they only knew about it from his peers.

Based on the report, the mother of the missing teenager still hopes that her son is still alive despite that he was ‘presumed dead’ according to Scott Liske, Park ranger.
