Netizen Yona Abella shared how she save more than P40,000 in 5 months.
YONA ABELLA – Netizen Yona Abella took to the social media her special technique in saving money.
Recently, netizen Yona Abella posted about the 50 Pesos Challenge on her Facebook account. Based on her post, through this challenge, she was able to save 846 pieces of P50 bills in just five months.
In her post, Yona stated that that a person can really reach far if he or she would decided to save money.
According to her, most of us would save with the help of a piggy bank but when time comes that we have to go somewhere, we would get the money or worst break the piggy bank for our wants.
She stated that it depends on the person on how he or she can save. The netizen also expressed in her post that we should not prioritize our wants over our needs as our wants can wait but our needs can’t.
Yona Abella admitted that she is also a great spender before. However, she stressed that we are not getting any younger and we have to prepare and save for our responsibilities in life.
She stated that while we are still young, we really need to save so when the future comes we won’t be having problems with money as we already have.
According to her, she was able to save 846 pieces of P50 bills in five months. How did she do it? Yona stated that she treats all her P50 bills as invisible – she can’t use it.
“For example nag bayad ka ng buong 500 pesos then ang sinukli sayo 4 na 50’s , yung 4pcs na 50’s dapat invisible sakin hindi ko siya pwedeng gastusin,” she stated on her post.
Yona expressed that she really disciplined herself as she believes that if somebody wants something, there are lots of ways on how to reach it.
The netizen stressed in her post that she shared about the money challenge not to brag but to inspire people. She expressed her thanks to her “buddy” Kit B. Cunanan for taking the photo.
