Pres. Rody Duterte spoke regarding Mocha’s appointment in PCCO.
RODY DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte defended the appointment of Mocha Uson in the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).
Mocha has recently been appointed as the assistance secretary for social media. Undeniably, it gained mixed reactions from the people. Pres. Duterte himself defended Mocha’s appointment.
Recently, the entertainer-turned-public official took to her official blog site a video showing the side of the President regarding her appointment to a post that was reportedly created for her.
Based on the video, Joseph Morong asked the 72-year-old Chief Executive as to whose idea was it to appoint Mocha. Pres. Duterte right away responded that it was his idea.
The President said that there is nothing wrong with Mocha as she is bright. He also stressed that Mocha was not dancing without any covers.
“It’s a matter of intellect. Yang pagsasayaw niya hanapbuhay yan eh,” he said.
Pres. Rody Duterte also emphasized that Mocha is one of those who helped him during the time that he has no money as they offered their services free for him as they believed in him.
He added that it is now time for him to believe in them.
In the caption of the video posted, Mocha expressed an agreement to those who said that there are lots of intelligent and excellent people out there. She stated that she will persevere to work hard in the PCOO.
Based on a previous news report, Mocha’s monthly earning in her new post will not fall below Php. 123, 454.
That includes the basic gross salary, the representation and transportation allowance (RATA), the monthly extraordinary and miscellaneous expenses, and the PERA or personal economic relief allowance.
Furthermore, according to the report, the entertainer-turned-public official is also entitled to bonuses, cash gift, and as well as clothing allowance.
