Netizens react to Twitter posts of the the beauty queen Mariel de Leon about the appointment of Mocha Uson.
MARIEL DE LEON – The beauty queen responds to the reactions of the netizens about her posts regarding the appointment of Mocha Uson as the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) assistant secretary.
Truly, this appointment of the former blogger and dancer sparked different reactions from the Filipinos and not a few brows were raised about the issue.
According to the previous report, the newly crowned Miss International Philippines reacted on the controversial appointment of
Uson and it was reflected on her Twitter account.
Prior, she re-tweeted the news of the The Philippine Star about the confirmation of the appointment.
Based on her posts, a netizen once asked her, “What’s your view about this? Queen M?” He is referring about the issue of Mocha Uson and the beauty queen answered, “I love my country so it breaks my heart to know someone like her got a position in the gov’t.”
Another post of her says, “I hope that change will come. And I hope that I can use my voice and my platform to be part of that change.”
And in this post of her, a netizen commented saying, “Empowering women doesnt mean dragging another women who deserve respect. Your voice is out of tune, fix it.”
A lot of her followers and users of the social networking who saw and have read her posts were in rage because of her judgments. While other defended her thus, people of the online community were divided in their opinion and point of views about Mariel de Leon’s posts.
