The airline’s CEO got a smash a smash on his face during his speech by an unknown assailant.
CEO – In the middle of his speech, the Qantas Airline Chief Executive Officer Alan Joyce was smashed in the face with a pie by an unknown attacker.
Being smashed on the face in front of a crowd is indeed really embarrassing considering the position of the victim in the said company.

And according to the report of the Kicker Daily News, the incident happened on Tuesday and it was during his business talk with The West Australian Newspaper in front of a crowd with the topic “Leadership Matters”.
As seen on the video, a man in suit was so relax when he passed by on his back when suddenly this old man hit his face with a pie and then walked away as if nothing happened.
Due to the incident, you may hear that the crown gasped, perhaps, in shock or in disbelief for the event was so quick and unforeseen.
Meanwhile, Alan Joyce was left stunned and the pie was smudged all over his face and even on the upper part of his suit
The reason of the old man as to why he did such is yet to be clarified and even its identity is still unknown. And whatever his true intentions were to embarrass the airline’s CEO, only him knows.
Despite the unexpected event, the CEO remained calm and composed and received praises for being such.
Embarrassed though, the CEO kept his cool.
He said to the reporters in an interview afterwards, “My issue is I need a good dry cleaner before I leave Perth, so if you have one, please recommend it to me.”
