Wilma Tumangan Describes Scenario During April’s Blast
A sidewalk vendor in Quiapo named Wilma Tumangan has described as she witnessed the blast last April 28, 2017, in Manila.
Nowadays, the rate of the criminality in the Philippines continue to increase, despite the campaign against illegal drugs and intensified security nationwide. Usage of drugs and financial instability were some of the reasons for the increasing crime rate nationwide.
International terrorist group Islamic State (ISIS) claims that the pipe bomb explosion in Manila last April 28, 2017, was one of their activities, which injured around 14 people. The local authorities said that it was just a local scuffle in one of the notorious areas in Manila.
One of the sidewalk vendors in Quiapo named Wilma Tumangan has witnessed numerous incident in the area for being in the area for over two decades. She had witnessed riots and brutal incident in the notorious Manila district.
Tumangan said that she has witnessed the explosion, which fractured the foot of her daughter Wildred. Her daughter was one of the 14 people injured during the bombing. Wilma also said that the explosion was nothing compared to what she had seen before.
