TWO POLICEMEN – A photo of two cops helping a pregnant woman give birth crossed the social media.
Recently, four photos were posted on the Facebook page DYHB Tatak RMN Page. One of the photos showed a man carrying an infant wrapped in clothe while in another photo, the infant was already placed on a hospital bed.
The other two photos posted were visibly captured in a dark area. One of the two photos showed a woman lying on the floor. Also, in the photo, there’s a man holding a naked baby who appeared like he or she has just came out from his or her mother’s womb.


Based on the caption of the post, the photos were taken by the “PNP SAF SIX” (Philippine National Police Special Action Force) in line with the incident that two policemen helped a pregnant woman give birth to her baby at a waiting shed in Barangay Tamlang, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
The two kind policemen were identified as Police Officers Norton Mariano and Jose Aristotle Borja of 6th Special Action Batallion. 61st Special Action Company.
As of the writing, the post has reached 47 shares on the social media and lots of Facebook users expressed their reactions to the post via comments.
One netizen told the policemen in a comment that she salutes them as they were able to save the mother and her baby. She expressed gratefulness to the Almighty and told the cops to always be careful.
A netizen raised a question on her comment if the two cops were also nurses or not.
One netizen stated in a comment that the handling of delivery should be included in the SAF’s training for instances that a woman would give birth. She also stated that they should have OB kit in their vehicle.
