Netizens Bring Back The Controversy About Pepsi Paloma in the Midst of Tito Sotto’s “Na-ano lang” Issue

Netizens seem to be not forgotten the controversy about Pepsi Paloma which dragged the name of Senator Tito Sotto, as his remark “na-ano lang” presses on.

The case of Pepsi Paloma has been recalled by some netizens on micro-blogging site, Twitter as the issue of Tito Sotto continues.

Pepsi Paloma, was one of the popular Softdrinks Beauties introduced in the 1980s along with Sarsi Emmanuelle and Coca Nicolas.

She rose to fame in showbiz however her career did not last long after she took her life by hanging herself.

Celebrities such as Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon and comedian Richie D’Horsie has been labeled for involving in an incident alleged as the reason why she committed suicide.

Tito Sotto, was also dragged on that issue. However, he denied involving on the prior controversy.

Meanwhile, Tito Sotto continues to gain the netizens ire over his “na-ano lang” remark to Social Welfare secretary Judy Taguiwalo regarding her status as a single mother.

The 69-year-old host-politician did not only gained the netizen’s ire but also the displeasure of popular celebrities including Vice Ganda, Gretchen Ho, Claudine Barretto and to name a few.

Tito Sotto claimed in a statement that his “na-ano lang” remark is actually referred to the street terminology for the single parents.

He has already released his apology. However, many were offended by his comment.
