Veteran Actor Bobby Vasquez Passed Away At 78

The veteran actor and the matinee idol of his time, Bobby Vasquez, passed away at 78 on May 2.

BOBBY VASQUEZ – Death of the veteran actor, Bobby Vasquez, was learned through an Instagram post of his granddaughter, Alyanna Martinez.

Through a series of post of Alyanna Martinez on her Instagram account, death of the veteran actor was learned. Bobby was born on April 9, 1939 and faced demise on May 2, 2017.

According to the report of ABS-CBN News on their site, Alyanna had checked in at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in the United States and affirmed the passing of his grandfather.

Bobby was married to his leading lady Amalia Fuentes, mother of Liezl Martinez, deceased wife of the actor Albert Martinez, of whom died because of cancer.

The veteran actor has starred on the films such as “Pretty Boy (1957),” “Ako Ang Maysala (1958),” “Sapagkat Ikaw Ay Akin (1965)” and “Maruja (1967)”.

He had also played  the character of Lauro Vizconde in the movie  entitled Vizconde Massacre.

Addition to that, he is also known to be one of the leading men of Vilma Santos, the star for all season.

Going back to the posts of Alyanna Martinez, she stated there, “Say Hi to Mama for me. Why are the good ones always gone too soon.”

Many were saddened by the loss of  the actor but it won’t equal the feeling of agony of the family he had left behind. For they had not lose an actor, the family lost a father. a grandfather and a best friend, as what would Albert Martinez describe his father-in-law.

Death is indeed unpredictable. It would hit a person regardless of what you look like, race, social status, age, gender and everything.

A lot of citizens had extended their condolences to the family and sent their prayers for his soul.

However, everyone should not think about death as a loss but it is an indication that our loved ones who had passed away is now in a better place.
