The construction of the building visualized to be the most beautiful skyscraper in the country is eyed by two property giants.
BEAUTIFUL SKYSCRAPER – The SM Prime Holdings and the Federal Land Inc. eye the construction of a very tall building in the Philippines.
Based on a recent news report in Inquirer, the two of the most known real estate developers in the country, the SM Prime Holdings and the Federal Land Inc., joined forces in the construction of a very tall building.
According to Federal Land president Pascual Garcia II, the said building will be the legacy of Mr. Henry Sy and Mr. George Ty.
According to the news report, Sy and Ty were the founders of the two giants in the field of real estate development.
The P5-billion project will be the first time for Federal Land and SM Prime to work together in fulfilling a ‘property project’. Nevertheless, the Sy family and the Ty family has already gone through some team-ups in previous projects.
Based on the news report, the building will rise between Discovery Primea and Ritz Towers.
Henry Sy. Jr., the chairman of the SM Prime, told the source in an interview that it is going to be “the most beautiful building” in the country and the “best architect in the world” has been hired for its construction.
Sy refers to British architect Norman Foster who has played a role in the redevelopment of the Reichstag in Berlin and as well as other famous structures in the different countries across the globe.
According to Sy, Foster usually “makes one or two buildings per city but no more than that.”
In an interview, Garcia said that it will bring “Metro Manila into the global map” and excitement fills them with regards to it.
“It’s a sort of a coming out for the Philippines,” the president of the Federal Land added based on the report.
