Dante Presumes To Bring Some Rain This Week

Cyclone Dante is Expected to bring some rain shower this week.

DANTE – Tropical depression had entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility last night thus, expected to give rain showers for the rest of the week with partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

According to the report of the Sun Star Cebu, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration stated in their forecast yesterday that thunderstorms are about to affect some parts of the country.

Dante has a maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and gusts up to as 65 kilometer per hour.

Pagasa Assistant Weather Chief Renato Paciente said, as it was mentioned in the report stated above, that Dante will be intensified today turning to a tropical depression.

Before leaving PAR, the tropical depression is expected to weaken on Friday.

As per the previous report, the tropical depression was seen looming in the eastern region of the Mindanao more than 1000 kilometers away.

As  soon as it had entered the area of the Philippines, it is considered as the fourth cyclone of the country this year.

In another report by the Inquirer Net, according to the 11 a.m. weather advisory of the stated agency above, the tropical depression was last seen at the east of Virac of Catanduanes 1170 kilometers away moving to the northwest direction at 11 kilometers per hour.

As mentioned by the Inquirer Net, Pagasa stated that within the 300 kilometer diameter of the tropical storm, moderate to heavy rains will be expected.

There had been no warning signals raised yet.

And there had been a forecast that Dante will not be able to affect directly any part of the country but it would only bring thunderstorms as stated information in the above prior to this.

Dante is said to cross the Casiguran, Aurora first before it will leave the country by Friday.
