A video captured an overloaded jeepney.
OVERLOADED JEEPNEY – In a video, several men were captured committing a dangerous move just in order for them to be able to ride in the jeepney.
Recently, YouTube channel Pilipinas Viral Videos took to the online platform a video showing a jeepney that is loaded with passengers.
Based on the caption of the video, it was taken around 5:00 o’clock in the morning, April 22, 2017, in Eastbound at the corner of Edsa and Aurora Boulevard.
The netizen said in the caption that he or she waited for half an hour to be able to cross Edsa.
“I pity these guys but nothing is safe and right with what they were doing.”
The channel credited the post to Bj Torres.
Based on what can be seen in the video posted, lots of men were hanging on the back portion of the jeepney so that they could have a ride.
Though the jeepney already looks overloaded, there are still those men who ran after the vehicle in the hope that they too can stand on the back part of the car.
In the later part of the video, some of those who were standing on the vehicle’s back area were able to take a seat. They were replaced by the men who never gave up on running after the jeepney although they failed on their first attempt.
Another dangerous move that the men have committed is that the jeepney is running as they chased and get into the car. Fortunately, none of them lost their balance and fell on the ground. Their move could have led to something undesirable.
In any situation, it is essential that we think of our safety as one of the top most priorities to avoid other headaches or problems.
