Inspiring story of a deaf as she graduated with the highest academic award hooked the attention of the online community.
Dreams do come true despite the obstacles and challenges that may come your way. It is just a combination of passion, hard work and determination.
Normally, in the society, whenever a person with disability is involved, people would feel pity towards him or her.
But, Dianne Salazar is not one of the usual people who needs special care and attention as she proved to all that she could be like that of a normal person.
According to the video shared by TV Patrol in their Facebook page, Dianne could not hide the happiness she felt as she had concluded school with high honors taking Bread and Pastry Production.
Aside from having a disability, she succeeded as a student despite having a husband and two children to attend to while managing their family business in baking.
According to the report, Dianne stated in sign language, as translated by a translator, “Very happy. At saka thankful po ako sa God at para sa mga plano Nya sa akin at yung wish ko talaga ay natupad.”
(Very happy. And I am thankful to God and for His for me and my wish had really come true.)
Dianne’s daughter even said that she is so happy for her mother because she did so well.
Based on the video, her husband also stated that she is so happy as well for his wife and that he is really proud of her and he will always be there to support their family.
As seen in the video, husband of Dianne has similar condition just like her.
Dianne served as an inspiration to her family and may also this story inspire not just her fellow PWDs but everyone.
