Netizen Destiny Mantia took to Facebook her experience.
DESTINY MANTIA – Facebook user Destiny Mantia took to the social media her heart-crashing experience when she was 21-years-old.
Based on the post in Destiny’s Facebook account, she never thought that one incident can change her whole life and affect their family. She narrated the tragic experience.
According to her, there was a time in the past when she and her husband, Corey Mantia, woke up and her went to work while she and their little one Parker were left at home. They spent time with each other for the whole day.
Later on, Corey went home and bonded with their little Parker before they left for a “wrap appointment”.
“Little did we know in a few short minutes everything would change,” she stated.
Based on the post, she never expected that they would not live together in the future and things would come to an end for them.
Destiny stated that while they were on their way to their appointment, their family was “struck nearly head on at an excessive speed by a drunk driver.”
She said that she will never forget that date and time as a “selfish person” took the life of their little Parker right away who was at the car’s back seat. She and Corey were “air lifted” and a day after, her husband lost his life.
Based on her post, the driver that has caused them the accident was drunk. She said that “one selfish decision” left her as a widow and a mother “to an angel” at 21-years-old.
According to Destiny, the drunk driver put an end to her dreams and brought her pain that she never expected can exist.
“That day the Destiny that was a mom and wife died as well,” she stated.
Destiny was strengthened by the prayers, support, and comfort of her family, friends, and a group for widows.
According to her, things might have not happened if somebody prohibited the woman from drinking and driving. She expressed an advice to the public not to allow anyone they know to drink and drive.
The post went viral on the social media. It has already reached more than sixty thousand shares and lots of netizens expressed support to Destiny through comments.
