WATCH: Thick Smoke Fills Aero Contractors Plane ’20 Minutes’ After Take Off

Smoke started to fill an Aero Contractors plane shortly after its take off.

AERO CONTRACTORS – A netizen took to the social media a video of an incident wherein smoke filled the plane ’20 minute’s after its take off.

Netizen Oriakwu Okwesilieze, one of the passengers of the Aero Contractors flight, took to her social media account a video taken when the smoke filled the plane.

The flight was from Port Harcourt and it is headed to Lagos, Nigeria when the incident that caused the passengers worries and nervousness happened on April 18.

Aside from the video posted on her Twitter account, the netizen also has several other posts wherein she described the incident and expressed her gratefulness that she has survived it.

According to the netizen, they were “chanting prayers” for more than half an hour as the plane was filled with smoke. She claimed in one of her posts that the smoke was thick thus they could hardly see.

“God can’t let this happen… The blades were sparking,” she stated.

She also stated that the plane’s pilot advised the passengers to calm down. However, something was already burning and the smoke that filled the plane became thicker and the plane’s alarm stopped.

The netizen said that all that is in her mind when those who can’t breathe were asked by the pilot to utilize a wet handkerchief was her family. She was “shaking” as the plane moved up and down.

According to her, all the verses in the bible were already quoted by her and women who were seated at the back area were already screaming.

The netizen said in one of her posts that an emergency unit and a fire service were already waiting at the runway when they landed. However, there was no explanation from the airlines according to her.

“I’ve never been more grateful in my life. Nothing else matters to me, God showed me mercy, Eternally thankful,” she stated.
