Amorphophallus sp was usually mistakenly dubbed as the tallest flower in the world. It is not a flower, but it is a cluster of small flowers, which is called as inflorescence, according to Dr. Pieter Pelser. It is a flowering plant with a smell of a rotting corpse, which usually grows in the openings rainforests on limestone hills.
This flowering plant can be found in the blooming site, which is only 100 steps away from the national highway. Calawag also advised the tourists to wear trekking shoes before going to the blooming site.
