Netizen Janelle Rullan took to social media her sentiments.
Janelle Rullan took to the social media her admission that she was the class’ source of answers. She explained the reason behind allowing her classmates to copy her answers.
One thing that most teachers would not want the students to do during examination is to cheat. Another is to let their seatmates freely copy their answers. Every educator has his or her own reason why he or she does not like it.
Recently, a graduate expressed on the social media that she is the class’ source of answers. Janelle Rullan entitled her post “AS I GET OLDER I REALIZED IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO GAIN FRIENDS THAN TO EARN MEDALS.”
According to her, since she was a kid, she was always reminded not to allow her classmates to copy her answers. The same scenario keeps on repeating until she reached college.
She stated in her post that for all her life, she has always asked herself if it could be still called as stealing of answers when she herself wants to share it to others. She stressed that she knew how much the teachers hate when he or she worked hard for the exam and the students would just cheat.
“But, hear me out,” she stated.
According to her, she has no regrets on allowing her classmates to copy her answers. She stated her principle, “Tulungan mo ako sa part na mahina ako, tutulungan kita sa part na mahina ka.”
[Help me in the parts I am weak at, I will help you on the parts that you are weak at.]
She emphasized that she really enjoy the company of her friends and she wants to bring out the best in them. She also stated that she doesn’t believe that her friends only use her as she is smart as she can really feel their love.
According to her, she does not “spoon feed” them as there are instances wherein they would occupy the whole canteen as she would tutor them. She stated that she does not want to be alone on top as she wants to be with all of them.
“Wag mong sukuan yan mga classmate mo na parang tuko dumikit pag exam, maniwala ka na may tinatago silang katalinuhan,” she stated.
[Do not give up on your classmates who are like lizards during exam. Believe that they have hidden smartness.]
She ended her post by thanking her siblings, mother, relatives, organizations, scholarship sponsors, bestfriends, professors, and to the Almighty.
