Mary Nel Sagalongos took to social media her experience with an Uber driver.
MARY NEL – Facebook user Mary Nel T. Sagalongos shared about her and her sister’s experience when they rode a car driven by an Uber driver.
Based on a post of Mary Nel in her Facebook account, she was still shaking when she took to the social media her experience.
“I think my sister and I almost got kidnapped today by an uber driver,” she stated.
According to her, she and her sister “booked a ride from SM Aura to Eastwood City.” She stated that the driver seems already strange when they were conversing on the phone. She added that it took the driver around 10 minutes before he arrived.
The netizen stated that the navigator indicated to turn left but the driver went on the other side and he was cursing. Although she disregarded it, she already felt “nervous”.
According to Mary Nel, the place they were passing through looked “creepy” and “sketchy”. She said that she has not been there before so she raised a quest to the driver. The Uber driver responded that it is just to escape from the traffic.
The netizen stated that the driver took his phone and then he called somebody. She really felt nervous that time and she has asked her sister to take a picture of the Uber driver.
Furthermore, she stated that she took a video of the driver and her sister had taken a voice record of the driver’s conversation with his mate on the phone. He told his mate that he was able to get the “first prize”.
Mary Nel stated in her post that she abruptly asked the driver to park the car when they passed by a place where there are lots of people.
“I didn’t really know if what they were talking about was me and my sister but everything was just really scary,” she stated.
According to her, she was really very nervous that time that when the Uber driver turned to her camera, she was not able to “press the record button”. The netizen described the driver as someone who is most likely around 40 years of age.
She stated in her post that she took it to the social media for the public’s awareness. She suggests to just “cancel the ride” if the driver already sounds strange during the phone conversation. The social media post has already reached more than four thousand shares.
