Extortion Charges Filed By Basket Ball Player Kiefer Ravena Against Kristoffer Monico Ng
The basketball star Kiefer Ravena formally filed cases at Quezon City Prosecutor’s office against Kristoffer Monico Ng, who allegedly extorted from him.
On Friday (March 31, 2017), Ravena has filed robbery, extortion, and violation of Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 charges against Monico Ng at the Quezon City court, with the help of the Philippine National Police Ani-Cyber Crime Group (PNP-ACCG).
Ravena said that a certain @gwency-doc, claiming as one of his solid fans added him on Viber last month. Kristoffer was allegedly behind the circulation of Ravena’s nude photos in the social media, who pretended as a woman, sent nude photos and engaged the 23-year-old basketball star in ‘sexting’ for weeks.
The basketball player said that he was threatened by Ng that he will upload their conversations in the social media if he will not send his nude photographs. So Ravena was obliged to do so and started to send his nude pictures.
The exchange of photos between Ravena and Kristoffer online last for a week. But Ng, who was using another Viber account asked Ravena for an amount of P50, 000 in exchange of information as to who leaked the exchange photos.
On Wednesday (March 29, 2017), Monico Ng was arrested at Eastwood Central Park in Libis during an entrapment operation. Meanwhile, Ravena was currently training with Alab Pilipinas for his debut in the Asia Basketball League.
