President Duterte Says To De Lima “See You In Hell”
President Rodrigo Duterte admits that he will really go to hell, but he also said that he would surely see his critic Senator Leila De Lima.
Mr. Duterte was accusing Senator De Lima of money from jailed drug lords, which she had allegedly used for her senatorial campaign. De Lima was also allegedly involved on the illegal proliferations of illegal drugs inside and outside of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).
De Lima allegedly accepted money from drug lords in exchange for their special treatment inside the national penitentiary. She was arrested last month when multiple charges were filed against her, but she was still denying all the accusations against her and insisting her innocence.
“Sigurado ako wala naman akong ambisyon. Impiyerno talaga ako. Pero maghintay ako sa kanya pagdating niya. Sabihin ko talaga. Señor Satanas. Dumating na ang reynang hinihintay mo. Eh totoo man. (I don’t have ambition. I will really go to hell. But I will wait for her there. I will say ‘Sir Satan, the queen you are waiting for has arrived.’ That’s true),” said by Duterte quoted by Philstar.
The president’s vulgar tirades draw laughter from the Filipino community as they enjoyed Duterte speech, jokes, and booing every mention of Senator Trillanes and De Lima. He also said that he will tell the jail guard to stay away from De Lima for he might create an issue against them after De Lima had an affair with her guard and driver.
The senator was a staunch critic of President Duterte’s bloody war on drugs amid Extrajudicial Killings (EJK).
Duterte also slammed Senator Antonio Trillanes IV for collecting money from businesses and call him a coward. He also mentioned the participation of Trillanes in the 2003 Oakwood Mutiny and the 2007 Manila Peninsula Siege, wherein Trillanes and his companion quickly surrendered to the police.
Trillanes was accusing Duterte of having undeclared billions of pesos on his bank account, but the president described all those allegations as garbage.
