Authorities Identified The Road Rage Gunman In Cebu City
The gunman behind the road rage shooting in Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City has been already identified by the authorities.
The gunman who shot a nurse during a road rage incident in Kamputhaw, Cebu City has been already identified as David Lim Jr. after City Mayor Tomas Osmeña together with some policemen stormed the house of the suspect.
The Cebu City mayor together with the members of Special Weapons and Tactics team in full battle gear rushed into Lim’s house based on the photos posted by Osmeña in the social media.
Osmeña’s latest post on Facebook said that Mr. Lim was not around when they arrived at the gate of suspect’s residence. The authorities invited the suspect’s father for some questions because the warrant for the suspect has not yet been released.
“He’s not here. I have invited his father in for questioning. I cannot legally compel him to come with no warrant. I am working on getting a warrant now,” said by Osmeña on his Facebook post quoted by Sunstar.
Osmeña said that the did not issue an arrest warrant for the suspect but still he ordered the deployment of the policemen at the Mactan Cebu International Airport to prevent the suspect from leaving Cebu and escape the crime he committed.
The road rage victim Ephraim Nuñal, a nurse from Talisay, Cebu City identified David Lim Jr. as the gunman who shoots him during the incident, according to Osmeña. Nuñal suffered gunshots on his right ankle and left thigh.

Lim allegedly went back inside his vehicle and pulled out his caliber .22 pistol and shot Nuñal on Sunday (March 19, 2017). A P100, 000 rewards await anyone who can give further details and information leading to Lim’s arrest.
