Look: Duterte Attends Grandson Stonefish’s Baptism Party

DUTERTE ATTENDS – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte came to the baptism party of his youngest grandchild, Marko Digong Duterte Carpio.

Recently, the youngest child of the presidential daughter, Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio, has been baptized at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Barangay Maa, Davao City based on a news report in Inquirer.

The baptism ceremony was held at around 10 in the morning and the members of the Carpio and Duterte families were there and as well as the godparents which include former Pres. Joseph ‘Erap’ Ejercito Estrada.

It was Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles who officiated the baptism of the presidential grandson. Baby Digong’s parents nicknamed him Stonefish based on the report.

The President was not spotted during the baptism ceremony. However, Jefrey Tupas, the City Information Officer and also one of the godfathers of Stonefish did not give details why Pres. Duterte was not there.

According to the report, Stonefish’s other godfathers were Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, Sebastian Duterte, Waldo Carpio, Cyril Marasigan, Jacob Soriano, Neil Canedo, Elijah Manuel Pepito, Charlie Tan, Joy Lamanosa, Orlando Basilio Jr., Brian William Uy, and Aaron Velasco.

Moreover, the presidential grandson’s godmothers were Darlyne Rubio, Janette Velasco, Joyce Domingo-Dapat, and Charo Rejuso-Munsayac.

Meanwhile, on a follow-up news update of the same source stated that Pres. Duterte was there in the reception of his grandson’s baptism.

Based on the report, the baptism party was held at the exclusive Matina Enclaves which is near to the residence of Pres. Duterte in Doña Luisa Subdivision.

Davao City Mayor Inday Sara gave birth to Stonefish on noontime of February 2, 2o17 based on a previous news report.

It was the husband of the Davao City Mayor, Atty. Manases Carpio, who took to social media that his wife and his son are both in good condition. The Davao City Mayor bore a baby boy at Davao’s Doctor’s Hospital through a cesarean section.

Moreover, the report stated that the youngest presidential grandson was given the nickname ‘Stonefish’ as the Davao City Mayor loves the sea. Stonefish’s other siblings were Stingray, a boy, and Shark, a girl.

Reportedly, the Davao City Mayor had a sensitive pregnancy. The initial reports about her pregnancy even entail that Mayor Inday Sara carries triplets. However, the two of them died.
