Tawag ng Tanghalan Winner is Noven Belleza.

Noven Belleza was named as the first-ever grand champion of It’s Showtime’s segment Tawag ng Tanghalan on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

After more than a year of searching for the most talented singer of the country, It’s showtime’s amateur singing competition “Tawag ng Tanghalan” finally named their fist-ever grand champion.

Six contenders from the different parts of the Philippines showcased their talent in singing for the last time to win the hearts of the Filipinos and take home the title of being the grand champion.

The rice farmer of Victorias City, Negros Occidental, Noven Belleza won the hearts of the judges and the viewers after he got an average of 99.96 percent.

Noven’s medley song for the second round got a standing ovation and earned praises from It’s Showtime’s live audience and judges.

Noven Belleza will go home with 2 million pesos worth of cash prize, house and lot, a recording contract under Star Music, negosyo package and a musical package from JB music.

From six grand finalist vying to the first ever grand winner of Tawag ng Tanghalan, the Negros Occidental native beats Froilan Canlas, Carlmalone Montecido, Sam Magubat, Pauline Agupitan, and Marie Montellano.

Tawag ng Tanghalan grand finals judge Rico J. Puno gives Noven the highest praise after his soulful performance of “May Bukas Pa.”

“Napakagaling mo,” Rico said to Noven for singing his original song.

Meanwhile, YouTube sensation Sam Magubat and Froilan Canlas ranked second and third, garnering 49.09 and 45.78 percent of combined scores.

Magubat will receive P500,000, while Canlas will go home with 250,000 cash prize.
